I’m seeing so many posts on prayer Bibles that I’ve been inspired to search out my little compact Bible that I rebound with a pink suede skirt that no longer fit me…(ahem!)
What is a Prayer Bible?
Grab a normal Bible and put together a bespoke index of themes and topics you would like to pray over your friends and family. Maybe you want to pray for a local or World situation.
Then, find the verses that go with these themes and topics (use Strong’s, or a search engine), add tabs to mark them out – enabling you to find the verse quickly to pray scripture:
For example, i’ve used silver glitter washi tape to mark out everywhere an angel is mentioned in the bible.
I find this so inspiring and encouraging, how God sends Angels. I’m captivated by how many glittery pages there are now in my Bible – and pray God continues to send his Angels to protect and inspire us.
